To play a file, simply double-click to play it in Kanto Player. Soon after you can start using the search and you will notice that as soon as you type the letters (eg artist name or song name), all the related results will appear below.
A popup will open asking you if you want to open Everything, click YES and then wait a few seconds for the app to scan the hard disk (this scan is only done the first time). This function takes advantage of the powerful search engine of Everything, the famous app designed specifically for the quick search of files on PCs or external storage devices (hard disks, USB sticks, etc.)Ĭlick the FAST SEARCH button at the top right of the program. Thanks to the FAST SEARCH function you can quickly search for any piece of music on your PC.
These two functions have been introduced in the latest versions of the program and allow you to manage all the songs without necessarily having to create playlists.
